Hey guys, I've got p0301 cylinder 1 misfire and a pending p1399 random misfire code on a 2001 accord with a 4cyl. In the last 48 hours the plugs, wires, cap and rotor have all been changed. Any ideas? Clean out the egr? fuel injector maybe?

 

possible injector, does it have individual coils? if so swap the coil with another and see if the missfire moves cyl. but id would say inj.

 

I worked on a Nissan with a similar code and had to replace the knock sensor.

 

Valve adjustment.

 

first, do you get it at low or high rpms?

since this is not a DIS engine, I would suspect ignition module.

Cars with individual coil packs on top of the spark plug do not have spark plug wires
