hey guys just picked up a b18a1 block from a buddy for short money (free). just wondering how to identify what year the block actually came from, i read that under the b18a1 the number starting is the year that the block was produced for that motor, meaning my block states:

B18A1
3xxxxxx

would that mean that the block came from and obd1 93 integra? if anyone can verify that this is true that would be awesome. as i will be running obd1 in my 2000 hatch. thanks for any input guys

 

well i don't know about that. but i have two 91 rs and they both have the b18a1.

 

ok, but the number underneath the b18A1, what is it? does it satrt with a 1? meaning it was the first year that that block was made in between 91-93
