b16 02 sensors

Default b16 02 sensors

so as usual i've heard a number of different things about o2 sensors my swap. where they should be, how many, how i should hook them up. i have an 89 si with an obd0 b16. i have one o2 sensor and i have a bung already in the cat i bought should i just tap the secondary o2 into the primary and run it like that or place both of them in the header on their own? i would appreciate the help i'm o close to having this thing running

Well OBD0 uses non-heated O2 sensors so you should kep them as close to the head as possible, if you have a stock B16 exhaust manifold there should ne 2 O2 ports on it...the best method would be to wire them seperately and have them in the stock location, the cat bung is going to be to far away unless you were to convert to OBD1 and us a 4-wire O2 sensor...splicing the them together will work but won't be the best results...

why dont you search for o2 sensor in the search button there is a lot of infor there no one wants to read

but b16 obd0 needs 2 o2 senors and the need to be on the header bc they arent heated 02 sensors so they need to be close to the engine so it doesnt run like **** until it warms up primary i believe is cylinders #1 and #4 and secondary is #2 and #3
