Default Non SRS JDM steering wheel.

Hey everyone.

My bestfriend just started importing JDM cars (Skylines,MR-2's,240sx's as well as CTR's & ITR's"Parts cars"). And he's offering me a ridiculously good price on the ITR steering wheels. Now i just want to see if there'd be any interest among my fellow HT members for these steering wheels. If there was enough people interested in them, maybe id start selling them here.Id say $ 280 for the steering wheel,$ 40 for shipping plus maybe $15-20 for shipping insurance.?

The shipping + insurance quotes are just rough estimates, if i do start selling them ill get the actual Costs.

"Prices may change depending on where you live, and the actual price of the wheel might end up being lower, if i buy a few of them 1 shot"

Note: They don't come with the "Hub".

This is not a sales pitch or anything like that, I just want to know if theres a MArket here on HT for these things.
Sorry if this is also in the wrong section.

there are 2 stores in the dallas area that import stuff and they get the non srs ones every month and sell for 200 each... condition is usually 9 - 10. i see that guy said $340 that's crazy... even your $280 is pretty high... if that's gonna be your price, i wouldn't do it. if you do anyways, i wish you luck.

I agree....I've paid $250 - $280 on ebay alone for 3 of them over the past few years. And that IS including the inflated shipping prices that ebay has. All of them in way better condition than the one in that pic. I currently have one left......in my car. I would never pay $340 for a used steering wheel......unless it was actually in more or less mint condition from the dealership and I desperately needed one.

Oh and BTW, I've seen the SRS steering wheels go for $340 or less ( including shipping ) on ebay too......so hmmm....you want business? You may have to do a little more research into the market and lower your prices. Unless......you're really banking on the hopes that a fool and his money will soon be parted.
