what do you guys think is the best tranny for a all motor set up

 

well the b16 tranny is the same as the USDM type r tranny gearing wise, with the exception of the ITR being equipped with LSD. personally, i'd go with the JDM ITR tranny which has a 4.7 Final Drive and LSD, the gearing is short which is good for all motor acceleration.

that tranny was only on 98+ jdm itr's and with the combination of b16 1-3 and gsr 4-5 gears with the 4.7FD, it comes out to almost the same as a b16/itr tranny acceleration wise.

 

so you guys are saying that the b16 is alot better then the gsr over all and you guys recommend it for a all motor set up

 

the USDM b16 and ITR gearing is the same being shorter than the gsr gearing. For all motor you want shorter gears. So yes, get the b16 over the gsr.
