Z6 rebuild

I recently bought a z6 head and am playing a big rebuild. Is it just plug and play, will it bolt right up?
Anything special needed for vtec??

is the engine you are rebuilding a d16z6? and you bought another z6 head to replace your old one with? or you bought a z6 head to put on a non vtec block?

i had d16y8 head and block.
im going to start with the head, but is ther anything special i need for vtec and bolt up to the d16y8 block
