i was driving today after a changed my spark plugs, oil, fuel injectors, and removed my cruse control.. then the check engine light came on. i took it to autozone they said that i had some sort of leak from the intake mani.. i guess it was a vaccum leak so i taped off all the holes and pluged them and the light is still on anyone know what this is? it runs fine and idles correctley

Cruise control uses a vacuum nipple on the lower end of the back of the intake manifold. Removing that might've caused the engine to throw a CEL (though it didn't in my car so who knows). And you should've noticed your car idling a little higher.

Cut some tubing off from the tube that was originally there and then just tape 1 end of the plug and put the plug over the nipple .
