Default d16 with no mpfi??

Is this possible, with using parts from say a d15b2? I just need a newer engine that is reliable. I would be fine with the b2 but its got high mileage. If so what parts do I need to take off the d15b2? Would the tranny work also from the d15b2?

you can but while the engine is out of the bay might as well do a mpfi swap too IMO.
