H22 oil pump
the oil pump is located on the timing side.(side with belts) to make ist easy ur gona have to pull the motor unless u wanna be hudinie. take off crank pulley, timing covers, timing belt, balancer shaft belt. the other two pulleys that sit on the crank shaft basically in that order. take oil pump off(its big, crank goes through it) put new one on. theres certain little things that when you get there will be self expanitary but to small for me to go on about.
The oil pump is on the front of the engine (i.e. the timing belt side) and is driven by the crank snout. To R&R an oil pump, you'll need to remove the crank pulley, timing belt covers, timing belt, timing belt pulley, balance shaft crank pulley, front balance shaft pulley, rear balance shaft gear assembly, and oil pan. Once all of those parts are off, the oil pump is held to the block by a few bolts and Hondabond. You're not going to find "simple" instructions because it's not a simple job.
If you can do a timing belt, you can easily R&R an oil pump in the car. It would help to remove the driver's side radius rod to give you a bit more clearance in that area, and you'll need to remove the driver's side engine mount to completely remove the timing belt, plus it'll make the engine sag some to give you additional clearance.
It's certainly not a 1 hour job. It's probably more than a 1 day job for most people.
This is a job that you shouldn't do without a Helms (i.e. Honda) service manual. Doing it without a manual is just asking for trouble. http://www.helminc.com
Definitely don't reuse your autotensioner. Only replace it with a brand new autotensioner.
