Hi everyone. I recently have been working on a 92 Civic hatch and feel the only way to make any real progress is to get another car to reduce my down time. I've pretty much decided on an RSX.

Now I really don't know a whole lot about these cars and issues if any with them. Looking to see what a good price you think I should pay for one is, I see them on EBay from 12-18k for the RSX-S. I'm not looking for an all out performer but I would prefer the S model, if any mods will be done it will be very minimal. I won't be buying until about January but I would like to get as much info as possible before I buy.

Your price range is correct but I think you should find the car first. Then tell us the condition of the car and them maybe we can give you some advice. It's kind of hard to just give advice on all RSX-S but if you can narrow it down to a RSX-S your looking at, there and then we can give you some advice. Get what I mean?

 

Wow, risk, considering I'm probably on these boards a hell of a lot more than you I'll take that with a grain of salt. That was a worthless post which is the reason you have so many, so don't get too happy with yourself.

 

Yeah, there is no way to search this and I'm goddamn sick of that search picture.

 

Maybe you both need to take some internet web browsing classes. They have them in college. If you're on here more then me, then you should know how to use the search function.

I somewhat agree--a complete rundown of the car would take an hour to type. Do the searching on the web, look at reviews, etc.

If you have any specific questions we can help, but a general overall 'tell me about the car' is hard to answer.

As for pricing, ebay, autotrader, etc. all good places to look.

 

What about the difference in years, are more people attracted to a certain one? I know in 6th generation civics there was actually differences in the 96-98 to the 99-00 making some people want one or the other more. If there is an FAQ I'd appreciate it if anyone knows I didn't see any when I looked. The civic forum is much more extensive but tehn again it covers 9 years and 2 generations so I can't complain.

imo, questions like yours are easy to find on the net and on these forums. questions like "the difference" and such about the car. but the pricing, i think you should wait until maybe december to start browsing. because prices might change, if you know what i mean. this might save you the hassle. i know when i want something or plan to get something, i start browsing and searching like crazy also. trying to find out what i can. you can do all that, but actually looking for a car and price, that can wait. hopefully this will help. and answers your question.

 

http://www.acuranews.com is a great place to research old models. I believe all years of RSX's are still covered on there. Look in the archive.

yeah.. pretty good huh.. maybe you should take those internet classes as i previously stated.. they should help you understand the concepts of searching and maybe utilizing html coding. You never know, you might be able to chew bubble gum and walk at the same time.

no.. you understand why i'm getting under your skin, not because you think no one likes me but because i'm hurting your feelings. You don't like what i'm saying, so you automaticly catagorize me as "no one likes you" but in reality this is called a defense mechanism because i'm getting under your skin. Hey i can't help it you don't know how to use the internet and search for your answer but i do see that you are lazy and rather would have someone hold your hand and do it for you. Aaah you think i want attention, if that's the case then why are you arguing with me? why are you trying to keep this going? So with that being said where does that put you? I do believe forums are opinions and i speak freely about my opinions whether you like it or not. Last i checked i pay my bills and i do what i want.
