Default To swap? or not to swap?

I know someone entered this thread expecting something motor related, but there is enough of that going around. My problem is, Would a 99-00 civic trunk fit a 98? I want the red/clear tailights and the painted garnish behind the plate(I have a dx). Or does anyone have experience with the ebay red/clear tails? Thanks

it will fit or you could just swap the tail lights and paint the garnish

you could swap paint and tail lights but if you think about it the whole trunk might me cheaper because you could just find a civic with front end damage and some one could piece out and sell trunk for cheap...if you have time to wait.
