Default car shelf?

Ok, this is a strange question, so I'll try my best to explain myself.

I have a space that is not quite high for a proper full sized hoist and I want to know if there is some type of frame/shelf or hoist that is manually operated so I can put 2 CRXes where only one sits at the moment.

So some kinda of geared windup shelf where I can wind one car up into the air and then roll another underneath the first. A powered unit would be nice but I'm thinking a manual one would be cheaper?

Also: I don't intend to work on the cars or use this thing to work on cars, i just want to store 2 cars in a space that currently holds one car. I'd even go as far as to remove the supsensions from each car so that I don't have to hoist the top so far up (tighter clearances)

Do you guys know what I mean? Anyone seen such a setup?

uh ..it would cost alot of money from what ive seen. had a friend that was loaded and they had 2 of them but it was more of a 'basement' type deal that came out of the ground you park a car in there and then it goes back under with a slab above it. so you can park another car on top. i would have to say at least 15-25k.

You need a 4 post lift. They are pricey plus shipping to Australia would suck.

I dont think he wants it gold plated. Your talking about a regular hoist you see at ultratune and what not yeah? You should go ask them how much they're worth.

MY friend did this with his 84 grand prix. He simply fabbed something up that would support his GP while the engine was getting built. He just parked his beater saturn under it lol. Good use of a one car garage.

Guys, I dont have enough height for a full-sized car hoist....(ps: the local council would never allow a backyard structure high enough to house a car hoist even if I tried)

ludeserv, can you get some pictures of his setup?
