CRX front end swap on EF Sedan
hello, this is the first time posting. anyways,.. i tried searching for a diy of some sort for this topic but i dont seem to be able to locate it.
problem is, my gf got into a minor front end damage with the civic, hood, bumper, fender, t-bar all bent.
the frame, i think and i hope is still straight so i figure i might as well upgrade with crx front or jdm ef9 front.
leaning more towards the crx, figuring it be much cheaper.
BTW anyone in Hawaii selling a complete crx or ef9 front end?
hood, radi support, fender, bumper, headlight?
-thx

the civic front end will probably be easier considering the fender differences with the crx and all....good lucj though...this is one conversion I have not seen done.
Please give us updates on what you do....

so even... for example, if i got everything off a HB, fenders, radiator support, hood... the bumper still will have a mean gap? not a bolt on process?
btw this is my first honda. sorry to be noob

Well anything can be done with some time and fabrication but if you want something that is a bolt on replacement you would need the sedan parts or the JDM Sedan Front end (which I think is really good looking) The hood is longer for the sedans than the hatch or CRX, fenders are longer as stated before...not really sure about the rad support...

JDM sedan frontend is not a bolt on either. That is if you are talking about the 1-piece headlight one. The fenders are longer on it too, and the entire core support needs grafted on.
To the OP, hope you got a welder cause it is gonna take some work.

lol.
I've always liked the CRX front end the best. I bet it'd look cool properly molded into a sedan.
