crx turboed in the spring. feel free to add what ever you think i might need. im on a budget so dont go to crazy lol.

mazda side mount intercooler, good for 16 psi or so.

ebay fpr 0-100 psi

dsm blue top injectors

custom charge pipes

custom down pipe

cast turbo manifold,

low compression pistons, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

a blox fmu.

an ebay WG, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

Guys feel free to tell me how this sounds i think this would be an ok build for a mild 8-10 psi on the streets.

positive input is welcomed. Thanks.

it's not looking good.

get a front mount. don't use an fmu. reconsider the BOV and manifold. i think you could do without the FPR also

the wastegate seems alright maybe ill just run the stock wastegate. why no fmu..... or a fpr you thing the dsm's would be enough fuel and i have a question about the ecu it is already socketed what would i need to do to get it to run a simple setup like turbo edit etc. oh im also running a blitz BOV ss series. oh and why no side mount it will be almost a front mount it will just be off centered alil lol

you need an FPR.

you dont need an FMU and an FPR with a chipped ecu. you definitely dont need the ebay parts.

no need for a fpr with some hondata, which is what you should use instead of a FMU

ok so your saying if i go with hondata and no fpr OR fmu and JUST the dsm blue tops it will be ok with out the risk of detonation?, i think that cast manifold looks legit and its a decent price also. and i have ran npr pistons in my other turbo hondas and i had the blocks go out before the pistons, is a 8-5-1 compression ratio low enough for 8-10 psi...

I would leave the bottom end stock rather then using those pistons. They look like they are poor quality

if you are only gonna boost 8psi, why use aftermartket pistons? I used some 550cc rc's with hondata. It was a golden setup. Still running strong for the guy i sold it to. Its all about the tune

but a 10-2 stock compression ratio is way to high for boost and i have used these pistons before with out any problems and does the fuel pump need to be taken care of.... i would think it would be alright for 8-10 psi

i want to do the pistons because with a really high starting out comp ratio you have a greater chance of blowing head gaskets once the engine is being force feed and i would like the peace of mind of not having to worry about when the h-g is going to pop on me lol

-the tuner you take it to do it
-do it yourself ( i would advise against this )
buy a ecu that is already setup for it
