Hi-low kit 88-00 civic and crx. You use your stock shocks and car lowers 3 1/2 and raises 1 in.

Uhhhhhh, yeah I did retard. You show me a link on Honda-tech that shows or has the info for the question I asked. I'm not asking just about springs,I'm asking with 15's,stock shocks which lowering springs work/look best. So if your such a smart *** let's see what you've found since you've obviously have some special searching power that I don't.

seriously dude, 95% of the crxs on this forum are running 15" rims. so if you browse around the picture thread at the top and the A/C forum, you will likely find your answer. Also, don't lower on stock shock unless you want a crappy ride.

Pee Wee may be cool but don't tell me I didn't search cause I did. If your not going to give me the info I need or at least try to help don't answer the post.Or at least don't answer it with a wise *** comment like what the "cool" Pee Wee said. I did search and I wanted to know if I could keep the stock shocks with lowering springs,at least with your second reply Pee Wee you weren't being a dick, thanks for the info.Just trying to save as much cash as I can,on a budget you know. I was actually hoping to just purchase some lowering springs without paying $600 for a new set-up.
So now I guess my question is whats the best common ground for a Crx with 15's. Is there a set up out there for $200-$250 thats decent?? And no Pee Wee I haven't searched on that question yet so you can save your comment.

and dont be rude

best cheap set up i can think of would be KYB AGX's w/ springs of your choice.

AGX's will cost you 300 shipped (never buy used shocks )
get some used springs for under a $100 and you are set

heres mine, it was cheap i neede somethign fast due to the broken front spring and blown rear shocks.

Im gettign the AGX next tho.

but even this, Rears ride like a drem, fronts will blow out eventially, but im gonna get new **** in few months anyway so its fine with me

anyways:

omni powers(no sleeves in the back, still got the sleeves up front so my uca doesnt hit the wheel well) 150 shipped from kteller(orwahtever its called) kyb gr2 (220 shipped from ebay)and extended top hats(with out the hats gr2's will blow 10 times faster)

but im pretty low as well

hope that helps, if your looking for a cheap set up, i know people that were running gr2 for a number of years and didnt had any problem with them, but that was 1.5 inch drop compare to my, like 4 inches...

Dude...........exactly the info I was looking for. Although 4 inches is probably a little too low.....I think. Were you riding on 15"s with regular or low profile tires at all?? Thanks

185/60r14

and as i sadi you dont have to go nearly as low. Get your hats welded for like 1 inch instead of 3 like mine. (never go more than 1 in the front anyway)

im glad that helps

oh yea, front sleeves are still there, they r just all the way down, and to make it clear there no extended op hats up front(because my welder guy is an idiot and i no moved to another city), so after 5 month i started to fell that it becomes more bouncy, when the rears r holding up perfect, although i still rub sometimes if i hit a very big bump or a low spot or something.

if your shock arent new. you should buy new ones! why? cause your car and shocks are pretty old. just get new shocks. i did it on my 89 si hatchback. the car was bouncing like a fat girls rolls!! just get new shock itll be worth it and safer for you.

stock shocks wont handle more than 1" drop. They will blow.
And most aftermarket performance shocks (ie Koni KYB) wont handle more than 2.5" drop max !
