Which engine is better the GS-R's or Prelude's?
I have heard too many things about this subject. I still can't figure out which is better and the reasons why? If anyone could help me out it is greatly appreciated.
The H22A1, generally speaking, will always have more initial power, and potential than the B18C1.

So you guys think I am better off with a GS-R rather than a Prelude?
This is still me TOMMY19, I take it that the Prelude engine is more powerful than the GS-R's, I kinda knew that, but had to be sure. I was kinda confused when GS-R owners were telling me that they smoke Preludes stock.
The only way a GSR will beat a prelude is if the run a 5G prelude. The better gearing on the 93-96 prelude VTEC trannies gives them the edge over GSRs.
Now about which one do you guys think is built better between the two? In anyway. I mean in a whole, like the acual car.

Though I'm sure that GSRs can probably beat stock 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen Preludes...

H22 will always make more power than the B18C due to bigger displacement.
is it better? uhm....... better as in...????
The Prelude VTEC is better than the GS-R.
The Prelude VTEC and the Integra Type R are in the same class... literally. In most road racing clubs, the Prelude VTEC and the Type R are both bumped up to the next class because of the power, handling, and brake advantages.
So, then yes, if you want a diffinitive answer, the 95 Prelude VTEC is better than the 95 GS-R.
