The car: 97 Honda Civic Hatchback DX
The engine: JDM GSR completely stock
Things I've added to the engine:
99 Civic EX catalytic converter
2nd o2 sensor to a USDM P72 ECU
EVAP solenoid
Adjusted timing to 16 BTDC
All Vacuum lines connected properly
USDM header
New Cap, rotor, wires
New Headgasket
New Water pump
Modded the CKF sensor wires (this is what worries me)
No CEL. No smoke from the car. Everything runs really good. You guys think I'm ready?

I think you are ready man. Looking over your list you seem to have everything that is required. Just let her warm up really good before taking it in. GL
i live in SC, so i don't have to do smog testing, however my parents used to live in the northeast and my dad said that he would always rev his cars ('65 GTO, '70 Chevelle SS, and a couple of Trans Am's) up before the sniff test to help blow any crap out of the exhaust. just a thought if you are really worried, but don't do it too loud if you have a modded exhaust or else the inspectors might get pissed off and grade your car unfairly.
Do you have a CKF sensor? If not you fail. Also what year is the motor? Do you have the butterflys connected? I think thats the only thing you didnt mention.

Well I don't have a CKF sensor. I did the CKF bypass trick on ff-squad.com. Everything is connected as it should be from Acura/Honda. Butterflies work and the motor is from a 98 GSR.
Do you think they'll actually look for the CKF sensor? I've searched on HT and came accross a thread where a guy did the CKF bypass and passed.

yeah i agree...honestly it all depends on tha ref u take it to...sum are gonna be jerks and others wont care...in my experiences that i hear from my buddies, they always get tha jerks...example - "oh your missing a sensor - fail" or "oh your missing an emission controls - fail"...I hear that BAR allow a given amount of leeway towards gray area cars every year...those that are allowed are mostly muscles...all im sayin if this motor is an OBDI motor and u got it to mate wit an OBDII, get all tha OBDII parts (sensors and wut not). You can pass emissions but FAIL VISUAL.If you gots everything in possible your fate is up to that REF...gud luck man...
im guessin u wouldnt pass the functional test on it...everything has to be workin fine...only way u can kno wuts wrong is if u hook up a scanner on ure ride and pull tha codes out...if u dont have access, im not sure on ure ecu but wut i did on my ride when i couldnt hook up a scanner, i jumped to 2 terminals on tha ecu connector. it flashed tha SRS light to send out tha codes...its a fail safe for tha ecu if ure scanner cant communicate wit tha DLC to pull out codes...but yeah get ure srs light to turn off before u go...

Alright guys, the appointment date is getting closer. Any other tips? type of gas to use? additives?
Concerning my SRS light, should I just remove the whole SRS wiring and unit? will that turn off the SRS light?

No that will turn it on, why is your SRS light on? Either way that shouldnt effect BAR. Now if it was a salvage title car and your gaining a new clean title then yes you would fail.

SRS light is on because my jackass self installed a momo steeing wheel snipping some wires and loosing that reel thing with the yellow connectors. yeah I'm going there on tuesday. Does gas matter? I hear that 87 is better for smogging. Just worried that they will actually check for the CKF sensor. I just modded the ptank sensor thing too because it was throwing a p0453 code.

Theoretically lower octane fuel burns hotter and combusts at lower temperatures (so lower emissions, in theory) which is why you're more likely to detonate with lower octane. However the load on the engine during the test should be pretty low so 89 should be okay, just drive her easy on the way there to be as safe as possible.
they don't check for that sensor because they assume its already there(regarding ckf sensor), why they assume this is because if it wasnt there, you would have a CEL.
i passed doing this trick and trust me, these guys looked for everything...i went to the ref station a total of 9 times because of little knick knacks...
they even told me that having the civic ex si cat was wrong and was required to have an itr cat. (o2 sensor on the cat on the ex/si is in the middle of the cat while the itr was in the back of the cat).
the SRS light is to no concern of theres. i had mine on and never once did they say anything about it...
make sure you run your car pretty hard before the test...cause when you get there they have your car off and just cooling down...well at least for me
