Default Question about Gas usage?

Hey...I have been wondering for a while what is the main factor of gas usage. Is it how far you press the gas peddle down or is it the rpm level. Or is it a mix of the 2.

And What is the best way to save gas. I have a gsr and low on money.

Its a combination of both. Avoid "flooring" the gas and keep the revs bellow vtec and you will save alot of gas.

I think it's opinionated. I mean if you are in a higher gear you have to give it more gas to move but if you're in a lower gear you have to give it less gas to move but you're at a higher rpm.

the more you press the harder your motor is trying and the more gas it uses. it's both. just drive slow like me and get used to driving with a light foot. i always shift at 3k rpm and try to stay above 2k. i get ave at 29mpg (about 70% freeway and 30% city driving)
