Spraycan COLOR MATCH... (Need HeLp)
Hi everyone, I was just trying to find an answer to solve my problem... and I thought... "what better place than HT?".. Here is the thing:
I have a Pearl white RSX and im trying to put type R lips on it. I got the front and rear lip already, but when I went to get the paint they said I have to make a base color, then put the white pearl.. and also, the couldnt put the Pint in a spray can I had to take it to a shop and have them do it (paint the lips).
I just want to rock the type R look until I can paint the whole car, I there any Color code or Spraycan that could match my pearl white RSX?... Champ white, TW or something?
Any help will be apraciated, just want to paint the lips myself to rock them.
NOTE: no Flaming or comments of that kind, need helpfull opinions and sugestions.
Thanks!!

Premium White Pearl is a 3-step process when done by a bodyshop. That's gonna be hard to match in a can.
But, try http://www.paintscratch.com and see what they have. Either way, it's going to be more than a quick $6 trip to the autoparts store.
And wait until you can do it right before you install the parts.

just wait till you can get money together to pay for a full paint job. Do it right the first time and it will save you headaches and money besides spray painted body parts look like ***.

Great info, I think I migth go ahead and do that.. probl. $100 for what I need and I can do it myslef. They send you the base and midcoat together is way easier that buying them at the paint place and have shop do it for me.
Plan B would be ask my getto friend who does side jobs at hes work how much he would charge me for that....
thank you, any more info pls welcome.
