Default FS: 98-1040 Rebuild Project

SOLD

Selling my project due to personal reasons: Less hours at work makes paying for bills, school, and this project an additional burden. Also, I now have the opportunity to build a 2 car garage at my parents house which would make picking up another itr much easier in the near future after college.

Car was purchased in July 07' as a rolling shell, missing wheels and swap.

Significant Facts:
-Clean title
-Matching odometer with mileage
-Matching Badge
*These 3 items are extremely important in terms of a full restoration and should not be overlooked*

Since its purchase I have made very minor progress on the car:
-OEM 98' Wheels
-OEM 98' CW rear bumper
-removed stickers
-cleaned/degreased engine bay.

Mods:
-Koni Yellow Shocks
-Skunk2 Adj. Coil Springs
-Skunk2 Lower Tie Bar
-Skunk2 CF Eyelids

The car is only missing the following:
-Motor, transmission, axles, mounts, shiftlinkage, ecu
-Radiator
-Exhaust
-Front Seats
-Pass. Floor mat

Items availible that were purchased for this project:
-B18C1 longblock *spun rod bearing
-Engine harness

Asking $4400obo

Man, this car has so much potential. It's the PERFECT Type-R build project, matching odometer, original badge number (Rare as hell to see in a stripped caR), and a clean title.

If I were in the situation to, I'd pick this thing up right now for that price.

Nice caR project, good luck with the sale.

story on the car?</TD></TR></TABLE>

Long story short: Car was built for a local by InlineProand had close to ~550whp. The car was in immaculate shape and a gem. Car was traded for a R33 skyline and blown up by the new owner about a week later. From there it traded hands 3-4 times losing most of its fine parts (luckily I was able to get the Recaros in between) and it landed in my hands.

As others have stated, this car is the perfect project rebuild due to its clean title, original badge, and cluster indicating every mile.

For a full Carfax:
http://www.carfax.com/viewEmai...CTSi3

I think the price is extremely fair, and I will only be selling after speaking with the buyer (not just "hey...you want this car.") and making sure they have plans to rebuild it and keep it safe.

I'v gotten a couple of PM's which already has me getting a pitt in my stomach

Good deal. I wish I could of found a clean title shell after my first ITR was totaled, it would of saved me a lot of money. Good luck with the sale.

More pictures have been added to this listing. I am ready for this to move, so if you are wanting the car without any items please send me your offer. Please note, that does NOT mean I am parting the car out.
