Swap question

I have a 94hb with a 97ls swap and was wondering if i wanted to get my check engine light checked out how would i do it because i went over to auto zone and they said i dont have the connecter to connect the the obd2 reader

the car is a 94 (obd1) motor is a 97 (obd2) did you use the obd1 to obd2 jumper??? and no you wont have a DLC because yours is obd1. you do have a diag connection but it is on the passenger side kick panel but not sure if it will work because of swap. not sure

Bump for looking!

Find a cheap harness and dist, and fully convert your swap to Obd1, you will save your self lots of headaches later on. Goodluck.

I love it when people have cars with swaps and plan on doing other fairly complex conversions and upgrades, yet can't even distinguish between obd0,1, and 2.
