I have a problem with the door lock actuator in my Odyssey. When you use the key fob to lock the doors it continues to try to lock for a few minutes. In looking for an actuator to use for replacement, can I look for ones from different Honda models (Accord) or am I restricted to a replacement from only an Odyssey? Also I am assuming whichever model it is from it would need to be a four door model and not two door, is that correct? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

 

It's probably the same as an Accord. Just save yourself the hassle and buy one from a dealership.

 

No answers here I guess, you will need to contact a junk yard, they have books on what parts will swap to different vehicles. YES, the actuator is your problem. Order a used one on line for an Odyssey.

 

You can also go to the dealer and pick up the door lock actuator, they have them in stock all day everyday most of the time.... just expect to pay a little more but it's there. Easy to install also.
