Skunk2 Cam gear settings
What setting are you using. + or - in intake/exhaust, with a stock motor. I only have an intake right now and trying to see what numbers people are using (I tried a search first). Thanks...

If my brain remembers correctly, I think a good place to start is +4 for intake, and -2 for exhaust. Atleast thats what I was told to start with on my B16 and go from there. Correct me if Im wrong. Its gonna be a little different for each motor though, depending on mods, etc.

The dyno was a given...thanks post *****. I was asking for some numbers from those who might be running on these cam gears with a relatively stock B18C5.

The exhaust cam (on Skunk2's) seem to like a bit of advance. Try +3, +2 to start. (Just to cover my own ***.....I AM IN NO WAY ADVOCATING THIS OVER DYNO TUNING!) Good luck!

Also, Do you HAVE to open your valve cover to make the changes, or can you remove the side belt cover...can't remember and don't have the diagram/or car in front of me...
