Default Getting the BEST out of your car, w/o turbo!

Hey guys, it's me. AGAIN! I visit the forums a lot and read up on nearly every post to get as much as information as possible, but not everything in this forum has the answers to my question(or I just can't find them), so here goes! I thank everyone who replies, both helpfull/nonhelpful in advance.

Ok so...I'm going to buy an INJEN intake but everywhere I look, it says it's compatible with Civic sedan/coupe SI. Does this mean that it's NOT compatible with non-SI sedans? Because...I have a non-si sedan.

Also what I want to do to my non-si 06 sedan is get headers, downpipe(maybe?), intake, and a hondata reflash.

Are they compatible with sedans or should I just give up? And let's say I DO get all those. About how much HP gain do you think I'll be seeing? I already have a magnaflow exhaust by the way.

Thanks!!!

You can get a downpipe, your car has no header. A bunch of people make intakes for the R18, an Si intake will not work. And get exhaust, thats all you can do N/A

Basically.. except for the intake. You can get an injen intake.. just not the one made for the SI. Just look for the EX/LX/DX one.. I'm 99% sure Injen makes one, I know other name brands do.

Sorry to burst your bubble.. I really have no idea what a hondata reflash would do you on your car.. you have no removable header from what I've heard.. and a lot of crap just hasn't come out for the R18 yet. You pretty much have to accept it's gonna take the backseat to the k20 in the SI.

Yeah, I don't think Hondata makes a reflash for the R18 yet either. Boy honda really should've changed their minds on that integrated header.

How much hp would be gained with an intake in a non-SI? I was considering getting one if it was 20+

Nope. The most you'll get out of one alone is 11HP max which is what Fujita claims. But you won't get anywhere near 20 with just an intake.
