94 accord dies while driving, second post
This is my wife’s car. While driving the car the engine will die, just like you turned the switch off but I hear the main relay “buss”. I had someone to look at this and they have replaced the main relay, distributor and starter switch. I know all were new and I have the old parts. We coded and get error 14 which is the idle control error. We had a problem of when you had the AC on and was at idle speed the engine would stall. I clean the idle control and there was a lot of junk in it. This did not take care of the engine going dead but when it did run it took care of the AC stalling the engine at idle speed. When the engine dies you can always hear the main relay start to click right before it dies and then it clicks fast. The engine will not start for ten or more mins. I have checked at this time that there is spark. Some have said to check grounds but where are the blasted grounds that I should check? This is costing me tooooo much money and did I say this is my wife’s car and she is pissed… One other thing is about four weeks before this started I had to have the starter replaced. The engine will die sometimes after I have drove only a few blocks

Hi guys, where is the idle control valve on the 94 Accord?
I'm having the exact same problem (it rumbles a lot and stalls when the A/C is on... it's OK otherwise), and I read that I can adjust the idle control to help fix this.
Is this an involved process requiring removal of a hard-to-reach part? Or do I just loosen or tighten the screw on the valve? And/or use some throttle body cleaner?
Anyway, any help in locating the idle control valve (and maybe a couple tips on how exactly to adjust the idle speed to help the A/C issue) would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks!
