I have a B16A2 already, what else would I need for a B20/VTEC?

I am undecided on boost or NA, I just swapped from a D16Y8 to a B16A2 (as recommended by my mechanic and brother) but am not satisfied with the power. I am considering a B20/VTEC build. I know I need new head gasket, timing belt, B20B/Z block, oil line. Would I need anything else like a CR-V/LS throttle body?

I read through that already. But I want to know what parts I need to complete it. One thing I am confused is the throttle body. Which one bolt up correctly? I read the B20 throttle body has issues with the placement of the cable but then is the B16 ok? I know I will need the proper timing belt, short block, vtec conversion kit / oil lines...

You have a B16 head already. Use everything that you have from up top and transmission. The only thing your changing out is the block. Get yourself a new vtec oil/ water pump. New timing belt, im assuming your leaving the stock b20 pistons, which is ok. All you need is the b20 block, use all of your other components along with the new headgasket VTEC oil line kit and grab some arp headstuds.

How do I check if my head is in good condition? What else do I do other than a compression test. I am unsure if I have a bent valve as it is kind of noisy at 2k+ RPM but pulls fine, doesn't burn anything, and decent fuel mileage.

I already have a new B16 WP, that will work with the B20 right? Would I need new seals/gaskets as outlined in the reliable b20v thread? Is there a recommended vtec oil line kit? If I recall, the Golden Eagle uses VTEC head gasket which is incorrect, should it be vtec or non vtec?
