Default dx to mpfi swap

just did a dx to mpfi swap on my 89 civic hatch
got it running today ran good for a little while
then i tryed to move it and it bogged
out like it was skipping time or made i had one of
the plugs in the wrong spot idk
but if anyone knows anything bout
this swap or any ideas what might
be wrong i would appeicate it

So it idles fine, but bogs when you push down the pedal?

yea when i moved it
It bogged down
and then died out
now when i try to start it
it turns over and the main relay
makes a clicking noise
and it doesnt start

try advancing the distibutor a bit. and check ur trottle cable and make sure its not to loose. hope this helps/.

i had the same problem.

i bought a new main relay and it didnt solve the problem.

so then i went and bought a new battery it started up just fine.

try it out.

Do you have any check engine lights? That's always the first question that needs to be answered.

Probably the TPS wiring, did you swap the outside wires on it? If you didn't it will read backwards.
The main relay isn't your problem.

sorry but ive switched from a 89sohc to a 95 d16z6 and the TPS wires are the exact same. didnt have to cut and switch them.

Check your ground wires I had the same problem(start at first,then main relay clicking,no start)after swapping my D16A6 into my car.It turned out in my case to be the ground on the thermostat housing.

Check your TPS wires and check your injector wiring. Maybe somethings loose. Also check your grounds.

i finally figured it out
and im not a noob to hondas
sorry
but it was the eacv sensor
i had the wrong plug hooked up
so i hooked the right one up
now works great
but one question still
does any one know the color of the wires
for the air temp sensor
and i still have check engine lights on
idk
doesnt bog down no more
the tps was right green , red , yellow
i got a fully built sohc for turbo
cant wait to boost it
its been a couple years i n the making
and i think i finally got it right now
