How you doing? I am a new b to this site. I am here because i need some help unlocking my girfriends 2001 accord radio. I do have the code. But when i try to put it in, it still doesnt work?

How do i put it in? what exactly is the process. Thanx for any help

 

probably wrong code

should be 5 characters long and when the screen says "CODE" you enter it in on the radio buttons.

get the serial off the radio and go to a honda dealer, they'll give you the correct code

just trun the car on then the radio and alls i have to do is puch the numbers

 

Yep, turn on the vehicle, wait for the

CODE display to come up on the radio

Press the channel buttons and it should beep and I believe it'll turn off.

Turn it on and you're good to go

 

I encountered the same problem on my '94 EX. You're lucky you have the code. I had to take mine to the dealer to get the code. Oh, if you put the code in incorrectly 3 times (I think it's 3) it will LOCK until you disconnect/reconnect battery.
