http://www.autolamps-online.com

or

http://www.powerbulbs.com

Also, check out the new Osram Night Breaker, which should prove to be just as good, and most likely better than the X-treme Power.

Nothing tinted, the Sylvania Xtravision should be great.

The XtraVision is nice, but the latest Philips X-treme Power and Osram Night Breaker will perform quite a bit better.

Philips X-treme power is available in a 9006 lamp, according to the Philips USA website.

Also I don't recommend the 9005 conversion anymore, as 9005 lamps usually have a rated life of under 100 hours, some of them only 50 hours. You'll be lucky to get more than a few months of use out of them. I had 9005 Silverstars back in the day and one burned out after only 3 months.

*EDIT

I can't seem to find any retailers selling 9006 X-treme Power bulbs, even though the Philips website says they are available.

I think 9012 HIR bulbs would be a better choice for upgraded 9006 bulbs. They put out almost 1900 lumens vs. 1000 lumens from standard 9006 bulbs, and their rated life is nearly as long as standard 9006 bulbs (nearly 3 times the life of standard 9005 bulbs, and with more light output than 9005 bulbs).

Hmm, just yesterday I posted that it wasn't offered in 9006. I'll have to go correct that post if it is indeed now available.

It's probably a moot point, though, since the 9012 HIR bulbs are roughly the same cost, and will provide superior performance.

Philips says the 9006 X-treme Power part number is 9006XP. A Yahoo or Google search for 9006XP reveals pretty much zero information, and no distributors at all.

oh well, 9012 HIR performs better than a 9006 X-treme Power would anyway, and costs about the same.

It's unfortunate that the HIR technology has not spread to additional applications.

Yeah and I hope these on hirheadlights.com are still available when I get the money to put them in my wife's car, after I polish the headlight lenses of course.

So all you do with the Philips X-Treme Power H4 is replace the bulbs, right? Nothing else required? I've got a '96 Accord driving on country roads, and I need some better lights.

TIA!

hey, I was gonna ask about the "9012 conversion", but I actualy did a search and I wanted to post this link to another topic covering 9012 HIR bulbs, with additional links inside
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1764499

good stuff! this looks like exactly what I have been wanting, bright and stock replacement (minus a little shaving) more light without more watts and most importantly, without using some cheesy a$$ HID kit.

ill post up some pics when I get them

Accords have separate low and high beam bulbs, so I'm pretty sure they don't use H4's, which means you can't use the X-treme Power bulbs.

Most likely you have 9006/9005's so you can look into some 9012/9011 HIR bulbs.
