Default 2008 vs. 2007

Ok i got an email from honda with the updates on all the new cars for '08. well just for ***** and giggles i compared the 08 si sedan to the 07 si sedan. this is what i got.

2008 si sedan Fuel-Economy (City) 21 23

2007 si sedan Fuel-Economy (Highway) 29 32

2008 si sedan Suspension (Front) MacPherson Strut Front Suspension

2007 si sedan Independent

2008 si sedan Suspension (Rear) Multi-Link Rear Suspension

2007 si sedan Independent

everything was the same but these 3 things stuck out... just confused me.
ive searched on the 08s but its all talk about the mugen. anyone know what they changed? herd there was supposed to be a air presure sensor on the 08s.

anytime you compare a older model or any other model to the recent honda models on their site it never shows details. The MPG only changed because of a change in regulations. Nothing changed in 08 except the TPMS and the new HFP wheels.

I'm confused on the MPG. Which model year is rated better? What caused this change, wouldn't they still have the same motor and same tune? So the MPG difference is caused by a change on how they measure MPG?

Bingo!

The AC is on full blast, they punch it between stoplights and don't overinflate the tires like they used to. Funny thing is now people will be getting better mileage than is on the windows instead of vise versa.
