Default Rear body panel

My civic is crashed and the back is pretty banged in. I had it pulled out and now it looks pretty good, except my rear lights aren't fitting. I think I need a new rear body panel. Does anyone know where I can purchase one online without going through my expensive honda dealer? Remember its a 97 Honda Civic coupe. I already tried ebay. they only have hatchback models. Thank you please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your lamps aren't fitting you may also need a left tail lamp pocket and a right tail lamp pocket. The best place to find them would be a Honda Dealership, they shouldn't cost too much. It's #15 on this site https://www.hondapartsdeals.co...+4920 looks like the rear body panel includes the tail lamp pockets.

I don't know of any aftermarket rear body panels for hondas, and wouldn't use one either. You should try egging out the mount holes, or beating the panel with a block of wood first. Its kinda hard to say with out looking at it.

You don't need to remove the quarters you just cut out the welds for the rear body. They usually just mount on the outside of the quarters. Sometimes you have to fish them behind the quarters though. Probobly one of the easier panels to weld onto a car I think besides a rad support. Just make sure you test fit your trunk before welding together. Keep the old seam sealer on to locate the edge of the panel to the quarter and line it up to the reinforcement holes. Alot of guide marks that help in aligning the panel.

I always use self tapper screws to hold the panel in place so i can test fit lights and stuff.
