You're 15 you shouldn't be buying it anyways. Not worth it.

An S isn't a good first car. I drove a beater miata for 3 years before I got my s2000. Makes me appreciate it everytime I drive it.

wow. the S2000 forum is a bunch of jackasses

OP: hell no it's not worth $14k. I wouldn't pay more than 10k-11k for that.

it seems like its not worth more then 10k. Plus dont think of the mods a car allready has when your buying it. Think off the conditon and millege of the vehical.

what year? if its 00-01 even 02 that still seems too high. i paid 18k with a 2 year warranty for an 00 berlina and 20k original miles that was absolutely mint!

without warranty it would of been 16500.

stay away from modded ones. You never know if some idiot was wrenching on it. The only way i'd buy a modded S2000 is if it was from a friend who knew what they were doing. I wouldn't be so apprehensive to buy a modded civic because the original owner's mistakes are easy and cheap to fix. An S2000 may get expensive and complicated if something goes wrong. Plus you have to assume that they were beating the crap out of it. Unless you know the history of a modded car, it's not a good idea. Not to say that people dont beat on stock ones....but you're probably safer with a stock one than a modded one.

BTW, a modded one with just mild bolt on mods like those will be worth LESS than bluebook usually.
