aftermarket springs or factory?

Cut springs FTL!
Get some funds and buy some springs or if you are strapped for cash buy some cheap ebay springs. Anything is better than cut stockers.

terrible idea, the worst possible way to lower a car. how the hell do you have a new Si and would consider cutting them.

yeah, go ahead and cut your stock springs. than when you have suspension problems Honda will enjoy telling you "YOU ARE NOT COVERED, YOU VOIDED THE WARRANTY".
