i think i have an electrical problem...
I installed a new head unit (jvc kdsh99) and new battery (svr battery for integra) around 3~4 months ago. Recently, I've been having problems with my car not being able to start. The ABS light comes on while i'm driving, and if I shut down the car while the ABS light is on, I won't be able to start the car for the next few minutes. There would be no electricity throught the car at all, and I would not here anything when I turn the ignition. Is my alternator going?
I have almost 60K miles on the car...

Hi Teken:
First of all thanks a lot for the info.
My understanding is battery load testing is veryfying my charging system? Where can I get the battery load tested?
I'm fairly sure my head unit is wired up correctly. There is connection to constant 12V and ignition 12V, but the unit does not turn on in off position.
If this is a problem with the battery, I would be fairly disappointed as I spent over 150 dollars on this deep cycle battery.

I verified the alternator today and found the actual cause of my random ecu resets, abs light, and speaker distortion...it was bad grounding of my jvc HU! My ground screw/bolt came loose after these months, i didn't tighten it enough.

I ended up rewiring the ground, and installed a kill switch at the same time.
Thanks a lot for the informative debugging.
