Why are you going to 5 lug?

You can get just as good wheels, bigger brakes aren't really going to help all that much. Not worth the money spent IMO.

Better wheels? Bigger brakes? Brembo's only come in 5-lug form?

You know you can use some Brembo calipers on your existing setup. Also, you can get a Brembo big brake kit. And, there's just as many 4x100 wheels out there, as there is 5x114.3.

DC5 hubs have different splines than EM2 hubs. So you will need custom axles to run DC5 hubs.

Yes, it would be compatible with a K-series drivetrain.

u dont need custom axles if you use RSX-base model knuckles, and u can still fit S2K/RSX/TSX brakes on to them.

The Brembo's came on the DC5-R's. They're different from the DC5 hubs. The bolt pattern may be the same, but the rest of the mounting structure is slightly different.

not to mention your offset is thrown out of proportion, you'll need to find anything from +55 to +60 offset for wheels to sit flush, +45 with these would stick out a bit too much. like +30 offset on our cars currently.

haven't people done this already? and i mean it does kinda make sense to do its very rare great toping power. or does it jut make more sense to get a rear disk set up off of the ep3 and get better rotors and brembo calipers and such?

i've seen some do dc5r conversion but they've all had kswaps. i have dc5-s 5lug conversion and a d17, custom axles...

i had ep3 rear disc before the conversion, and i like 5lug better, it feels way better then braking on the old brakes. of course i could've got better brake pads and i'll still feel the same as right now with the 5lug.

there's a lot of good ones, just depends on your pocket, can go anywhere from 500-1500 for header alone.

i hope by "small" you mean at least $6k for a loan... i went at this with no loans because being in debt sucks . this is why it's taken me over a year to complete...
