Default Im looking to buy a Turbo Kit!!! HELP

Im looking at theGreddy Bolt on turbo kit, but it seems as if it doesnt come with an intercooler, what else am I going to have to buy??? Do you guys reccomend this Greddy turbo kit??? I would like to be pulling at least 210 WHP, but not sure if this will do... Can someone help me on this one??

I live in California, I want it to be 50 state legal, this is where im planning on purchasing it. Is it a good deal or where else do you reccomend ?

youd want an intercooler. you COULD get the kit but if you wanted the intercooler youre going to have to get one separate along with some new piping

if you want a carb sticker, a greddy may be your only option. not the best performance, but pretty good quality and great for a daily driven car. back in 2001 my friend made 314whp on a greddy kit w/ standard 18g turbo with the optional front mount..

last i heard, greddy kits are no longer CARB legal. you only other option is the edelbrock kit. it's more complete and comes with a better turbo anyway.

ok i wrote a friend that knows a good amount about turbos, here is what he wrote me when i was thinking about going greddy or even any bolt on turbo kit

I got a 96 teg gsr and was wondering what kind of deal you could get me on a greddy kit, or something comparable, I want a bolt on setup. I like the idea of the emanage where i can drive it until i can afford better fuel management. Thanks

I'll have to check on prices for something like that...however Im sure I could build you a much better kit for the same price Things that are important... (dyno time for tuning, walbro fuel pump, NEW RC/precision injectors, Hondata S300 or AEM EMS, AEM wideband, Electronic Boost control solenoid, spark plugs, cap, rotor, plug wires, and a nice clutch with the stock flywheel. ~ 2400 dollars The turbo/intercooler/bov/wastegate/etc...can be upgraded later. the important stuff is what i listed. internally gated DSM (14b/16g/evo turbo/ log manifold/ mild steel piping, t bolt clamps, couplers, dsm bov, downpipe to meet the stock exhaust, srt-4/evo/stock anything intercooler for cheap ~ 1100... so I'd say 3500 dollars an you'd have a reliable setup. which you could uprade. the greddy kit doesnt come with a LOT of things you'll need. We could go cheaper...but this is what Id be comfortable with building...this way you arent dealing with BS problems all the time. lmk
