Default List of shops, dynos, fab etc.

Hey guys! Not sure if we have a thread like this already in the forum, but in case we don't, I figured it would be nice to have a list of resources in the area. Feel free to add your experiences and favorites.

Local stuff...

DYNOS

<U>JK Motorsports</U>

Fairfield, CT

http://www.jkmotorsports.net/index.html

Owner Jerry is an automotive performance genius. He races a 900-hp naturally aspirated Chevy I6 and sells VP race gas at the pump. AWD dyno.

<U>ICS Performance</U>

Stamford, CT

http://www.icsperformance.com/main.htm

Brian is a cool guy and the head tech Jr is an AEM EMS expert. AWD dyno.

<U>European Performance Labs</U>

Stratford, CT

http://www.eplabs.net/

Tony is a cool guy and he has a nice shop in a good location. They tune anything. AWD dyno.

<U>Pruven Performance</U>

Milford, CT

http://www.pruvenperformance.com/

These guys didn't seem very friendly unless you show up with a DSM. AWD dyno.

<U>XX Tuning</U>

East Hartford, CT

http://www.xxtuning.com/

Never been to this shop but they are Subaru experts and have some serious Supras. AWD dyno.

<U>The Shop</U>

Norwalk, CT

http://www.theshopct.com/

Owner Jimmy is a nice guy and very service and customer satisfaction oriented. Lots of STi and EVO tuning. AWD dyno.

FABRICATION

<U>666 Fabrication</U>

Milford, CT

http://www.666fabrication.com/main.html

Owner Jon makes some badass turbo and intake manifolds mostly for BMWs, but he seems to be able to do anything and everything.

<U>RJ's Custom Piping</U>

College Point, NY

http://www.rjcustompiping.com/index.htm

These guys have rave reviews for the custom IC and exhaust piping, and they have one of the only local mandrel benders.

POWDER-COATING

<U>NorthEast Coatings</U>

East Berlin, CT

http://www.northeastcoatings.net/index.php

Owner is a Supra freak so his work is quality and performance coatings are available. Great reviews.

<U>TRG Coatings</U>

New Jersey

http://www.trgcoating.com/

Excellent work with high recommendations from the Honda community. Quick turn-around time.

Pruven suck. Their incompetence is legendary. Take your car there and get it back months later and the work may or may not have been done.

Had a good tuning experience at ICS but pricey.
