Unknown box - looks stock - anybody seen one of these before ?
Hey there - I've got a '91 Hatch with a PM9 ECU - can't get it to produce spark for anything - new cap, rotor & coil - nothing...
While I'm rooting around under the dash, I see a gray box mounted on the side of the heater housing - the harness looks stock, and it joins in right where the ECU harness, and the heater wiring harness joins in - so - this thing is either an alarm ( I bought the car from the sister of the previous owner in a non functioning state) or it is a standard part of a honda civic hatch, and I'm a n00b... (which, I am.)
Can anybody tell me what this box is for ?

It says "MF06" on the back - and that is it...
Thanks in advance,
Ken

That it is. Starting in 92 it became the SRS control unit. The yellow connector gives it away.
