well hmmm i think that you shold go with the 5000k. IMO its more white and clear

i got one of the ebay $80 shipped 5000k kits, it fine. nice and bright, direct plug an play into my ef, and it got here in 2 days. i dident go for one of the expensive kits cuz it will prob end up getting stolen or ill get a ticket for them

 

So if you're worried about a ticket, why even bother with a plug n play kit? You're MUCH less likely to get hassled by cops if you have a proper HID projector retrofit with correct optics. A glare-ridden kit will draw way more attention from cops, no matter if it's a cheap or expensive kit.

 

I rock 6000k on my SV an love'em. All though, I kinda wish i would have gone with the 4300k.

 

Don't go below 100usd. those might be cheap chinese junk. I had one china junk which burned out within one week. It really pissed me off. Mculloch is good but too expensive tho. Search "JDM HID" on google or ebay might give you what you are looking for.

 

i went for the 6000k looks alright and now i can see the other two lanes besides me.
