honestly vtec controllers are obsolete nowadays.. pretty archaic way to change vtec and a lil. fuel but no timing.
if you are using stock cams you might benefit on changing vtec earlier; the 2.0 will peak at a lower rpm and will have the ability to ingest more air at any rpm compared to less displacement
