This is not really a write up cause i forgot to take pics during the install but i will diffenetly remember to bring my camera to work when i do the passenger side. i used the stock crx slider, i removed the evo sliders held in by hex bolts and did some minor hacking of the pan so the rails would both be even. i got the seat to where its going to be and since the evo seats are slightly wider only one side of the sliders will bolt up so i bolted up the side closer to the center console and the other side i drilled thru the floor and used a longer bolt and nut (puts on flame suit). the reason i did this is for all the thevies out there. i work at honda and every month there is an s2000 towed in with no seats and shift **** and a cut top. i ******* hate thevies. i also gorilla glued the threads so the only way that seat is coming out is with an cut off tool. also i installed my st rear sway bar let me know if it looks right all i have a 88 hf so i used the adapter kit they offered. i have yet to see pics of the bar in with the adapter kit so heres what i did. the car feels so much better with this car on.

recaros ftw!

sits lower then stock and its soft and really comfy but holds me in the seat too.

i'll get more pics of the install when i do the other side.

Wow, did ST change the design of their rear strut bar mounting points? When I installed mine about a year ago, the brackets I received with the kit mounted directly to the shock...or is this only for the 88 type-R style LCA's?
All in all looks good!

yea the car handles like its on rails. i order the optional adapter kit with the sway bar form summit it was like 53 dollars and it cam with 2 brackets 2 bolts 2 nuts and 2 spacers. i felt like i got robed lol. but if the instructions weren't so shitty i could of installed it in 15 mins i didn't have to break the welded nut on the rlca or even disconnect the strut. other then the koni's and gc's the rear bar was one of the best suspension mods i ever had.

My thoughts exactly.
That EVO seat looks really nice, almost like it belongs there. I guess since the Si seats were Recaros anyways that they'd look similar.
Good stuff.

yea they fit really nice i post on here like a few weeks ago seeing if anyone had done this and what were there results, but not too many people seemed to have done this (i guess cause of price of seats, only reason i have this cause my buddy recked his evo 500 for seats and innovate wideband, can't give up a deal like that). Someone told me a lot of fab but it was a really easy install. and like i said seat is super low i love it.

Haha, yeah I feel you on that one. Brackets and misc. junk are getting too expensive nowadays. Good to know that the money is going in the right places though (I have a very similar setup)

Seat looks great, keep up the good work!

you should have put a plate or even a thick washer that is large in diameter on the back side of the holes that you drilled. they will tear out if you wreck which is not a good thing.

Not to be a dick but i think if your wreck the last thing your worried about is your subframe, our cars don't hold up particularly well in most types of accidents.

Let me warn you about that rear sway bar. If you leave it installed like that the bar will pinched in the urethane mounts and after the grease dries up the bar will be tough to rotate in the mounts. This will lead to funky handling.
To make the bar work properly, you'll either have to shave off some of the back of the urethane mount or you will want to space off the metal brakect from the big black bracket with washers so that the mount doesn't squish the bar.
Have fun.

Damn that seat does look really nice in there. How different was the rails the EVO used compared to the CRX?
Whats the diameter of that bar? Has anyone ever had problems with it tearing out the subframe?

22mm, personally, no. Doesn't look like the OP has had any problems either

It came with washers there one washer and a lock washer on each bolt. well they tell you to lube the bushers every now and then so i'll do it once a month before autocrossing. i'm not worried about it but thanks for the heads up.
