I have a 91 Accord LX. The drivers door is stuck shut with both power lock and handle latches in working order. The local honda dealer says it is a broken door jamb latch and they can not fix it without destroying the interior door panel. Anyone know how I can get this door open with out destroying anything?

 

They are probably correct. You could located the interior door panel at a junk yard to save you some money when buying a new one.

 

remove the frt seat.. it will give you better access on removing the door panel without destroying it..

I hate fixing those. You have to drill out the door latch and hope you get it in the right spot. But yes you risk breaking the door panel getting it off. I've been lucky and just broken the clips.
