are type r's obd I or obd II?
I heard the OBD1 are better as fas as less check engine light problems when modifying your car. I also remembering read a post from a guy who had a gsr who had the i/h/e setup. He clamied that his friend also had the same setup but the first guy put the OBD1 conversion in his car and said his car was a little bit quicker. Is that possible? If so, how does that work?
Pre 2000 cars are OBD-II v1, 2000+ cars are OBD-II v2. No idea what the actual diffferences are apart from a new chipset and completely different pinouts.
