Bro,

I still can't get the single set to work right. lol I swear it is the relay. If I click on them on and off several times quickly, they finally go on and stay on.

One day soon I will get the front bumper off and replace that relay.

Heh. Call me, and we'll get it worked out. You want me to send you another relay? It may be something internally if it stays open.

I just recently bought a daily driver (87 Toyota Corolla FX16 DOC) so I can now start working on these little things that drive me crazy in the SI. As soon as I get the bumper off, I will give you a call and and maybe we can work through this problem together.

The whole reason I have not contacted you again about this, is because I was using the car at night and could not risk, not getting the "fix" done in a day. I know with the time difference (West Coast vs East Coast), it make's it tough to hook up.

I will give you buzz when I get the bumper off. Thanks again for staying with me on this, you guys have been awesome.

Check all connections on your hid components for corrosion, alot of times they just need to be properly cleaned (or replaced)

I've had issues with EVERY HID setup i've ever owned.

Nothing to do with the retro....

Glad to see you guys doing this, I plan on doing that setup with different shrouds and my own personal touch to it after a few other mods. Sorry, but i guess the cheaper ones go first haha.

That's CRAZY. Not only do the TSX's offer the crazy cutoff, but the FX's give it that incredible spread...

You are absolutely correct Mike. My issues have nothing to do with the retro. The retro is AWESOME. My problem is my inept ability to install them. I get confused and am always terrified I am going to screw-up my car. I just don't have the same faith in my abilities with these new cars, that I did when I built up racing motors for VW bugs and big block Chevy motors 25 years ago.

This is why I am so happy Bionic is still willing to help me out with my problem.

Btw, I still have a new set of factory headlight for the SI sitting on my parts shelf. Can you do a retro of the retro Bionic? I can put the factories back in for a while. lol

Bjorn definitely can
he re-retrofitted my lights that were done originally by me and they came out superb

We can retro retrofitted ones...

A quad setup is going to be a little bit more than just a single projector setup mainly because of that second set of ballasts and bulbs

Depending on the parts I would say between $1000 to $2000.

EDIT: I didn't want to start a new thread, but....

Over the weekend [3 days], we completed nearly 9 sets of retrofits, and before the end of today, we took a shot of the civics lined up.

I think this is a set of funny pictures, you be the judge.
