incorrect
you can just remove the entire grill without taking off the front bumper

Wait, i have an 04, and my emblem is on the way. Do i really have to take the whole bumper off, from the looks of it, i was thinking i was just going to have to remove a few clips and maybe the emblem would unscrew from the back.

I never understood the big deal about putting an 'H' emblem on a USDM Acura. Then you have to switch the rest of them over to make it look complete, and that's $150 I could have spent on something meaningful.

I got the center caps from my friends accord for FREE!, and I got the Honda front and back silver H for $40, and the integra emblem for $5 from a friend who never used it. I <3 Honda and don't like American marketing (Acura). All over the USDM "rsx", you see "Honda motor company". The whole time i was in japan, i only saw two Acuras, and they were CLs, every other car that would be Acura in America was Honda (integra, nsx, tsx, RL, ect). I don't understand why Acura, Infinity, and Lexus exist? I guess its to market the cars as an upper class version of the company.

Look around--almost *every* product is like this. Why doesn't GM just sell cars under GM instead of Cadillac, Pontiac, Chevy, Saturn, GMC, etc? What about Saab and Holden?

That nice Dewalt cordless drill you have? Yep, that's Black and Decker.

So don't think JDM Honda is 'pure' either. It happens in Japan just as much as it happens here. And IIRC, there are specialized dealers for different model lines of Honda cars in Japan. You can't buy an Accord the same place you can buy a Jazz.

Basically, if you spent time rebadging stuff that you own, you'd need a different sticker for almost every product in your house and garage.

And I see nothing wrong with Honda offering the same car over here under the Acura name but with nicer interior/exterior appointments. We all aren't teenagers.

But make sure to take care of all the Acura stickers. This includes the wheelcaps, name on the radio, steering wheel emblem, etc.
