I have a 90 civic dx bone stock, i just bought the car as a beater. I was working on my car in the shop and i noticed my rear suspension looked messed up. The previous owner must have cut the springs bc they were barely sitting on the strut, i could move them up and down and spin them around . I have an oem suspension out of my 94 civic ex and i was wondering if that was swapable.

Please, someone feel free to correct me, but im pretty sure that all civics ranging between EF and EK (inclusive) can all interchange thier springs.

 

i was also curious if the struts would work, i assume so because my omni suspension on my ej came off of a crx tuned for drag racing

the rear shocks from an EG will fit on an EF. theyre not the same, but itll fit.

an EK rear shock wont work on a EF/EG because its smaller fork width.

i dont recommend using parts from other cars. just get the right suspension parts for the car.
