96 Accord A/C INOP
Veru frustrated with my a/c problem. First it was a fuse that was blown to the a/c control which was replace. Both a/c and radiator fan had to be replace because somehow both of them went out at the same time. Now the a/c compressor was replace due to clutch not engaging. change compressor and still the compressor doesnt kick in. Freon was vacum, recyle, and recharge at a friends shop. Check all the fuses and everything seem to be normal. Any input will help.
This could be very long diagnosis, I recomend you pick up at least a Haynes manual, or do some FAQ research here in the top of the forum and learn a little bit and let us know what you find with an educated explaination, there are just too many things that could be bad.
Pressure switches, thermo switches, thermistor at evap, several relays, main switch power or ground, amp (head unit), blower switch, power to compressor, unthought of fuses hidden out of the normal fuse box, bad blower motor, fan controller, broken wire, still needs freon pressure in system, etc.
With wire diagram in hand I would start hot wiring out at the compressor and work my way back to the head unit.
