Default Are all B-series IACVs the same?

I have a '99 b16a2 that I suspect the IACV is going out. My friend gave me a replacement but it looks different than the one that is on my car. My question are all IACV for b series motors compatible with each other?
I tried searching but couldnt find anything.

The one currently on the motor looks like this one. It has a longer black barrel. Not the actual picture.

The replacement my friend gave me looks just like this one.

Yes; theyre are two different B-Series IACV's. Thats why on aftermarket intake manifold it has both bolt hole provisions.

Bottom one is more then likely GSR as they have longer IAC's. First pic looks like it could be B16 or D series.

Ok I installed it. It fits fine and it even helped fix some problems but at the same time they turned into new ones. *sigh*
