Car doesn't start after filling up gas
I've had my 99 Honda Accord V6 coupe since I purchased it new, but lately it's been having a problem when I fill up my gas tank. It has about 120K miles on it. This doesn't always happen, but the car will start, then sputter a little, then die. I'll usually try to start it up a few times unsuccessfully, but if I just sit there for a few minutes before I try again, it will start up.
I thought this was a problem with my battery, which has been low, but I already replaced it a few weeks ago.
Does anyone know what the problem is??

I vote for the ECT (TW) sensor after a short hot soak, it goes open or cold and is too rich on a hot restart making the engine too rich. This is the only time that a TW sensor is looked at on a Honda during a warm restart (because it looks cold again) but the engine is actually warm and does not need the extra fuel, once started and running good warm, the TW sensor plays no action (has no authority) on ECM inputs. I am not 100% sure but if you unplug the TW sensor and insert a 330 ohm resistor as a simulator, the problem will not show itself.
Hey i am having the same problem, i have been trying from FPR the fuil pump, i been to the dealer they have never heard of it, i ask around i got many "IT MIGHT BE" be that was it. So for real if any one have any idea it would be mad nice. I run out of ideas, i trace the fuil system i don't know what i am missing.
there is a TSB about warm starts.
The bulletin suggests that you crack the throttle open 1/4-1/2 before cranking.
You might also consider a fuel pressure leak down test; I've seen a few 98+ Accords that have leaking injectors.
Say "thank you" to the Product Cheapening Dept.
