I purchased a block off tray for my ek from 1zach4 on september 14. its now October 1 and still I havent seen it.. I never though it would happend to me. Even though its not alot of money, Nobody deserves to be scammed. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up when buying from scammers like this dude. heres the original pm's that we had before I bought the block off tray.

x2 I sold him a crank and it was smooth transaction, hopefully it gets worked out to scammers.

Dude, file a claim with Paypal. I had to do that for some stuff I thought I was buying from "dumpedsi" a couple months ago. He did the same thing. Got my money, answered a couple pms then nothing. He quit logginf on also. Probably just made a new account and started over. Funny thing is, I had bought other stuff from him in the past for more money and got everything.

Anyway, I did get my money back through Paypal, but still haven't heard from him.

 

For the record, I think its a good idea to post in this forum initially to get the word out about these guys. Who looks up the huge sticky thread all the time to see the newest scammers?

to be honest, some peoples pop up blockers block the pms from h-t.


it's only $30 and only been 2 weeks. if the seller actually did ship it, im sure he isnt worried about checking his pms on a daily basis if its out of his hands.


i say, give it more time before you cause a stink. at least another full 7 day week.

 

For what ever reason there is for the delay. This does relate to how every issue occurs.. First they reply back as soon as you message, Next they take your money stating the goods will be shipped out, then when u send payment, U no longer hear any replys or u get bullshit excuses. Its NOT the money that matters, Its being scammed period.. Thats the bottom line here.

 

I bought some parts off a guy in new york and it took over a month for him to ship the package. After I pm'ed and emailed several times, I filed a despute with paypal for the $40 I paid, and after a pre determined amount of time, I escalated it to a claim. Two days after the claim had been filed the guy finally mailed the package.

During the month of waiting, he did not post on honda-tech, respond to anyone's post, email or pm, and exchanged to no form of communication. So you can see how similar my situation is to yours.

My advise to you is to email the paypal address and ask why there has been no communication. Keep track of all your pm's and emails to use as evidence for the dispute/claim with paypal. This is what I did, and I finally got some action.

that's about 12 hours later. i cant say for sure if his grandparents died or not, but i suggest you try to email him. if they did, you'd feel pretty bad pestering this guy over a small amount of money. i lose more than that sitting in a comfy couch.

 

Just as I expected.. I'm not going to be getting my block off tray. If I knew this would happend I would of already gotten two by now... Anyone else got one for sale????

to a defense i had to send two tires i just sold to a member, he was upset that i hadnt responded, but i explained to him i tore an abdominal muscle at work and i couldnt get them out til today, he understood and should be getting his tires.

as for him using his grandparents death as an excuse, he deserves to be struck by lighting.

i hate when people say they dont have time or other **** came up

I already did but he doesnt have 30bucks in his account so paypal cant refund me untill he has a balance

i won a dispute for 630 bucks and he didnt have the funds been over a
year and nothing so i got screwed.
